1. What will you be exhibiting at the iNNOVATE Tech Show?
Access Corporate Ventures will be exhibiting new technologies related to Multi Channel Network Convergence (MCNC) utilizing patented coherent channel bonding, and the digital applications that it will enabled such as robotics, drones, and AI. The goal is to be able to showcase our ability to provide end to end autonomous solutions from high bandwidth low latency connectivity to robotics applications and analytics that would increase productivity an ensure reliability.
2. Tell us who your clients are and what are the services that you offer them?
Our clients range from oil and gas companies, plantation owners, heavy machinery industries, ports, as well as consumers including tourism and education. We offer to them connectivity-as-a-service (CaaS), digital platform and analytics, robotics and drones solutions for autonomous operations.
3. What are the challenges that the Oil and Gas industry is facing in the adoption of high technology services? How can automation solutions help them overcome these challenges?
With the adoption of technologies, the oil and gas industry will need to revisit its operational procedures, and perhaps policies, in order to gain the full value of the technologies and to quicken its adoption. Some technologies require a shift in the way things are currently done, and most would require training or re-skilling of existing personnel. In some instance to fully gain these values the technologies we would require an industry-wide collaboration between peers as well as vendors and their customers.
With automation, we can gain insights from analytics of data and trends or relationships between data. These insights would help us see the value and justify the adoption of these technologies. Automation would also help existing personnel and organizations to make sense of data and help with their decision making via prescriptive analytics.
4. ESG: How does it Apply to the Oil & Gas Industry and how does your company help in its adoption?
Being environmentally friendly and socially correct are a prerequisite for oil and gas industry in order for it to remain relevant. The same goes with compliance and having strict governance to ensure business integrity.
With the use of autonomous technology, oil and gas companies will be operating greener and will be more efficient, hence reducing its environmental impact. The robotics / drones and analytics would also allow us to operate more efficiently – reducing wastes.
