Discover the Art of Slow Travel
Six days in Penang, Malaysia. No agenda. Just you, a small group, and a city that rewards attention.
A slow travel experience for those who are ready to actually be somewhere.
Embrace the Journey
Most trips move too fast to actually land anywhere.
Slow Lines is built around the opposite idea that six unhurried days in one of Southeast Asia’s most layered cities, with a small group of curious people, is worth more than two weeks of ticking things off a list.
This is for the founder who keeps postponing the good trip. The leader who travels often but never quite arrives. The person who is ready, finally, to stop being useful to everyone else for six days.
Maximum 10 people. Everything taken care of. From USD 2,000 per person.
Journeys available: May · June · July · August 2026
Spots are limited. Four dates available.
A Day in the Life of Slow Lines
Our days begin gently, with optional early mornings that allow for personal reflection or quiet creativity. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts, where conversations flow as freely as the coffee. Each day unfolds with a blend of creative sessions and cultural adventures, offering a tapestry of experiences that inspire and rejuvenate.
As the sun sets, we gather for shared dinners, where stories and laughter are exchanged, grounding the day’s experiences in community and connection.

A note from Hanniz
I built Slow Lines because I believe Penang deserves to be experienced properly, not photographed and left, but walked slowly, eaten deeply, and understood.
I’ve spent years producing events across Malaysia. I know where the real places are and continue to discover new places.I know the people who will make this journey feel unlike anything you’ve done before.
I’ll be with you for every day of this. Small group, high attention, nothing left to chance.

While Slow Lines journeys are designed primarily for individuals, organisations may also send management or leadership teams seeking a more thoughtful approach to team building.
When delivered for teams, Slow Lines For Teams journeys are intentionally adapted, integrating light-touch facilitation, guided reflection, and leadership-focused conversations woven throughout the journey.
